Back to the Fifties

I like fifties style pictures and drawings and also HotRods,tattoos,burlesque and Rock 'n Roll.In the past have worked in the professional Rock'n Roll band for 10 years.With great pleasure!Unfortunately my boss decided to jump of the Hilton hotel in Amsterdam so he is no more.....Now I discovered stamps in this style and I love it!I want to try to be a guest designer and have to make three cards before I can apply.
This is my second card,I think it is a challenge to make a card for a male which I like myself also,but succeeded with this one I think.

I put my card-stand in little wooden shoes (clogs)because I am Dutch and thought that would be funny..hee hee!

Winner has been chosen

These are all the cards my little girl received from 'blogladies' (as she calls you!) for her birthday.It is two weeks ago now that it was her birthday and thought we waited long enough for all the cards to arrive.Today she has picked a winner.These were all the pretty cards she got,thank you all!

It is difficult for her to choose,she likes them all!

She decided to do a 'elimination' round....

When I asked my girl why she has chosen that card she said that she liked the colour and the little animal (Mylo) and she loved the 'diamonds' on the card.

For a challenge I had to make some Valentine's project.....the challenge was:

Make it sassy and sexy or maybe even an anti Valentine type of thing...
Well....and this is what I've made....

Diet,whatever.Eat CHOCOLATE!

I joined a challenge :Anything But A Card Challenge,and that gave me the perfect reason to go out and get a chocolate bar for myself !* Big Grin.Designpaper is a big NO-NO for this challenge.

This is how my chocolate bar first looked:

And this is what I have made of it.I kept the Fair Trade logo as I think it is important and to make people aware of it that everyone should buy slave free chocolate.

Sabrina's first challenge

Sabrina has a really nice first challenge: make a windowcard!

And this is what I have made this morning for Sabrina's challenge:

The mouse stamp is from Penny Black.I coloured the cherries and after that I used clear a clear Spica marker for a little sparkle and put paper glossy over the cherries.It is not very visible on the picture,sorry!

The front of the card I stamped with white stazon,but was not very happy with the result,I thought it was to pale,so I took my white marker and did overdraw all the stamped images with white.Now it stands out,and that was what I wanted!

Double challenge.......

This is Jennie's sketch challenge and I wanted to make a card of this sketch....

Regulary challenges are for me a double challenge and this time I asked my little girl to take some pictures of me during crafting.......so you can see what my double challenge is....

As soon as I sit down,Branston,my 14 year old ginger cat leaps on my back and stays there......

Sometimes he is turning around to get more comfy....I can assure you that it is not always easy crafting with a cat wrapped around your neck....

He is not afraid of the noise of the heatgun....he stays put....

And if he is not wrapped around my neck,he likes to sit on my workspace....yes...right on TOP of it!

How's that for crafting on a lazy sunday afternoon LOL!

I am wondering if other crafters have the same 'extra challenge' like me?

Busy mailman......

The mailman had a busy day today!Today arrived the birthday card from Larisa,that was exciting ,our very first mail all the way from Russia! She made a nice card for my girl and added some stickers for her. My girl is a happy girl! Thank you so much Larisa! You can find Larisa's blog HERE. I am expecting one more card for my girl and then she can pick a winner for the Magnolia stamp.It made her birthday extra special for her to recieve all those cards from people she doesn't even know.She calls them 'your blogladies" LOL.

The inside form Larisa's card was also decorated.

New inchies card -OOPS-
