Tintagel - Just a wee note to say: I love Cornwall!

I have lived in Cornwall for some years-

I lost my heart to Cornwall....

I was so happy to finally find a stamp with a Cornish image: Tintagel castle!

This Tintagel stamp is from De Stempelwinkel,also are the birds.

The text and celtic knotwork unknown.

The lady is a Third Coast stamp.

All is stamped with Versafine and watercoloured.

Fairy kisses

This fairy is a Third Coast stamp,and coloured with watercolours and twinkling H2O.

The red background is stamped (Long Island stamp) with Gesso on glossy paper,then I brayered it with red ink.

The stars and text are unkown what brand stamps to me. All the stars have a little dot of Stickles and also the border around the red paper.

The border around the fairy is distressed.

Stamping with hurdles.....

I while ago I showed you a picture with me,trying to stamp.....with my old cat sitting on my shoulders.....he does that regulary!

From time to time I'm 'doggy-sitting' Dixy,a 5 year old Jack Russell terrier of a friend.

Yesterday morning when I was crafting he kept insisting that he wanted to sit on my lap......
He likes human company.Luckely I had my camera on my desk and could take those pictures!

I couldn't work with him on my lap,so I put the cat basket right next to me and he was okay with it.

Stamped with distress ink:vintage photo

masked the images with liquid mask

stamp over the image the background

clean excess ink off and remove masking

colour the images

distress the sides and colour it with distress ink

glaze the main image

Fantastic,comforting gift!

A large parcel got delivered to my home.

It was a parcel of my blogging friend Thearica,who has the blog:

Pigtales and quilts.

I opened it and almost had to cry.

So much caring and warmth send,to us for me and my little girl,because my mother died.
Both of us got a very nice card with a very sweet and kind message.

And to give us a hug from all that distance (Thearica lives in North Carolina) we each did get a beautiful handmade quilt!

So we can wrap ourselves with the warmth she has send us!

A real comfort blanket.

I am speechless.So much kindness,so much caring!

It is wonderful to experience that there are still caring loving people in this world like Thearica!

This is the quilt for my little girl,and she got lollypops also!

Pretty card for my little girl,who immedeatly started to sing:

She is so proud of her new quilt and loves wrapping up in it and watch tv.

Merlin is thinking......

This owl,wizzard and book are Third Coast stamps,the background is a Paper Artsy stamp.

Not visible on the picture,but Merlin has a sparkling robe,I used a spica marker for that.

All coloured with distress ink and used Stickles as a border around.
