I am a bit fed up with this cold weather,and made a poppy card to cheer myself up....

The main image is heat-embossed and coloured with copics and distress ink.

For the background I used a smaller,but matching stamp.

Brand unknown,I have bought it years ago on Ebay.

Mounting rubber stamps - Picture tutorial

My large order of Third Coast stamps came in and I was busy mounting them,and thought it might be a good idea to make a picture tutorial how I do it.

Check out their SUPER VALUE GRAB BAG

(minimum of 25 first quality unmounted rubber stamps)

The stamp I used is:

VB-105-A Cat face small.

I use cellotape wich I folded,so the rubber sticks to clear pad.

I tried Blue tack,but that became messy on my block.

Use Stazon ink to stamp on the back of the EZ-mount foam or Turtle foam (I prefer the Turtle foam as the back is white and not dark grey like EZ-Mount,it is also much,much cheaper!)

Stick the rubber stamp with the folded cellotape on your block.

Stamp the image on the smooth side of the foam,not the glued side.

Before cutting it,you can trace with a pen around the stamp.I am impatient,so I don't do that....

On the left side the stamped and cut outfoam,on the right the stamp.

Peel of the back of the sticky side and place the rubber stamp on it

You can see it is a matchThe stamp is mounted!

This is the back,so you can see easy how you stamp will looks like.
