Cheap tip - Make your own ink blending tools

Cheap,easy and simple.....how do you do it?

These are my finished home made inkblending tools...in the middle the original Tim Holtz ink blending tool.

1.Go to a fleamarket and buy an old dominoes set and chess pieces.
2.Take your glue gun and glue the dominoes stones to the chess pieces....

Easy peasy...
3.Glue to the bottom the sticky velcro site,and cut it the right size.
And ready is your own ink blending tool!
Only thing to do now is cutting your felt pieces to stick to it.
Tim Holtz-eat your heart out...I have over 30 inkblending tools for LESS then the price of 1 Tim Holtz inkblending tool,and this is good recycling!

Mouse Rider

I made another Third Coast card...the Backgroundstamp I used is Road to Wonderland VB-351-U (June 2010 release) and I coloured it very lightly with distress ink.And the Mouse rider FA-504-J (April 2011 release) I coloured also with distress ink and also glazed his boots.

Goth up your Bombshells, is the theme for this bloghop.I also combined it with Raven B's challenge: Linen and Lace.If you are bloghopping,you should have arrived here from Cheryl.The base of this card is a metallic linnen card,the ,main image is of the Bombshell Pirates Life stampset.I coloured all with pencils and used mineral spirits.The wings are Third Coast stamps. I thought I might as well use my two most favourite stampbrands together.BOMBSHELL STAMPS also have two brand spanking new Asian style stampsets:HERE. Vilda stamps sketch challenge #1

Vilda Stamps has this sketch challenge #1 and this is what I've made of it.Check out the blog of Vilda stamps,there is so much nice art to see!I coloured everything with distress ink.All the main images are Vilda stamps, the text autumn background stamps is a Purple Onion stamp,and the trees is a Magnolia stamp.

Fairy Faera

Third Coast stamp used: CH-717-H Fairy Faera.Text stamps also Third Coast stamps,border stamp is a Fiskars stamp. Coloured with pencils and glitter on the wings. Have you already checked out my candy?

Floozy

The main image of this card is a Third Coast stamp and is called Floozy (VB-114-I ) and is again a design of Valorie Wilson. The background text stamp is a Purple Onion stamp. Floozy is coloured with distress ink,and I added glaze to her lips and shoes.To the stola around her neck I added glitter.The black die-cut I've done with a Nestabillity.If you haven't entered for my candy yet,there is time to do it NOW......

Woohoo!! I finished the weddingcards!

Today I finished the weddingcards I had to make for an aquintance! Yay! Finally done.

I'm happy thats it's done now,as usually I don't like making multiple cards which are he same.

I heat-embossed the main image and added glitter to it also,but it's not very visible on the photo's.

A memorial

This memorial of my beloved dog is made by a friend of mine.Thank you so much Anneke!
Not a card of me today as I am busy making weddingcards for a family in the village;they are on a very low budget,so I offered to handmade their cards.Soon they should be ready and I will show them here.

I can hear the music!

Third Coast Rubber stamps had new releases in April,so I couldn't resist to order,and I made this card with one of the new releases,this one is called:Beetle and Bass- LG FA-509-K.
